FAQ
We know that it's hard to find a good church!
It's never easy to find a good church, especially in a foreign country. We hope that you can find a home at Crossroad, and present a few common questions and answers here, so that you can understand a little bit more of who we are. Of course, if you have other questions, please feel free to contact us at any time at information@crossroad-web.com
What is the worship service like?
Our church is composed of Japanese and foreigners of all ages. Most everyone dresses casually, including the pastors. The music style is contemporary Christian, led by a small band and some singers. During the Bible preaching time, the speaker mixes humor with interesting comments about topics that apply to our daily life. After the service is finished, we always have some time to hang out, eat snacks, and talk to people.
My Japanese level isn’t very good, is that OK?
No problem! Everything we do at Crossroad is bilingual. We also have a number of foreigners who are regular members, so you won’t have any communication problems.
Who are you affiliated with?
Our pastors are affiliated with and ordained by The Foursquare Church. This protestant denomination was established 85 years ago and has over 20,000 member churches worldwide.
I’m not a Christian, is OK to visit?
Yes! Everyone is welcome to visit Crossroad at any time. We try hard to make the worship service something that non-Christians will feel comfortable attending.
We have children, do you have something for them?
We have various children’s programs, divided by age. For babies, we provide a place in the back of the main room for them to crawl around while their parents enjoy the service. For older children, we have our Comets and Sparks programs. Please click HERE for more information.
What other types of groups do you have?
We have a singles group called Imagine, with more information HERE. Also, many of our regular members participate in Small Groups that meet in various places at different times.
Are you easy to find?
We are located very close to Nishinomiya Kitaguchi station on the main Hankyu line between Osaka and Kobe. You can find a map HERE. Also, if you send an email to information@crossroad-web.com, we can arrange for someone to meet you at the station to show you the way.
Is there parking available?
There are a number of coin parking lots very near our meeting place.
